About the Artist
Adventure, “What-Ifs”, creativity – are they leading, coming, or going? An old, kid-leather glove, feathers, beads, clay, glass, discarded pieces & bits, lost and found. Pieces of a life well lived. Wyoming, Alaska, Wyoming, Florida, Hawaii, Wyoming, Germany, England, Wyoming, Spain, Portugal, the Caribbean, Wyoming, Madeira, Aruba, Wyoming – Do you see a pattern? I have been a teacher and student for 80 years and there’s always been a needle and thread involved – It has lead me to ‘Glove People’ and scrappy quilts. Bits and pieces from everywhere in my life are the spirit of my art. It speaks to me, I listen, and then I do – No more, and no less.
